Using Voice memo


You can record voice memos using the microphone installed in your vehicle and play voice memos on your system.

Starting Voice memo

On the Home screen, press All menus > Voice memo.
  1. Display the options list.
  1. Display Off (if equipped): Turn off the screen. Press the screen to turn it back on.
  2. Delete: Delete voice memos.
  3. Save to USB: Save voice memos to a USB storage device. Check the specifications of USB storage devices to determine whether they are compatible. > Refer to ″USB storage devices.″
  4. Memory: View information on the storage space used for your voice memos.
  5. Manual: Display the QR code that provides access to the online user manual for the system. For safety reasons, you cannot access the QR code while you are driving or the parking brake is disengaged or in a disable state.
  1. List of your voice memos. Press a voice memo to play it.
  1. Start or pause recording.
  1. Stop recording and save voice memo.

Recording voice memos

  1. On the Home screen, press All menus > Voice memo.
  1. On the voice memo screen, press to start recording.
  1. During voice memo recording, press to pause recording. During voice recording, press to resume recording.
  1. Press to stop recording.
  1. The voice memo is saved and added to the voice memos list on the left of the screen.
Note
  • Voice memo recording mutes the function in operation or pauses media playback.
  • If you make or answer a call while recording a voice memo, the recording pauses.

Playing voice memos

  1. On the Home screen, press All menus > Voice memo.
  1. Select a voice memo from the voice memos list.
  1. The voice memo will begin playing.
