Listening to the radio


You can search for radio stations through various search methods and listen to them. You can also save your favourite radio stations to the preset list.

Turning on the radio

Option A

Press All menus > Radio on the Home screen, or press the Radio button on the control panel.
  • Depending on the vehicle model or specifications, displayed screens and available functions may vary.
  1. Select a radio mode.
  1. Display the options list.
  1. Display Off (if equipped): Turn off the screen. Press the screen to turn it back on.
  2. Station list: Access the list of available radio stations.
  3. Scan FM/Scan AM (if equipped): Preview each radio station for a few seconds and select the one you want.
  4. Delete favourites: Delete saved radio stations from the preset list. > See ″Deleting saved radio stations.″
  5. Radio noise control (if equipped): Select the FM radio noise reduction option for the sound quality of the incoming signal. > See ″Radio noise control (if equipped).″
  6. Sound settings: Customise the system sound settings. > See ″Configuring the sound settings.″
  7. Manual: Access the web manual via the QR code. For safety reasons, you can access the QR code only when your vehicle is stationary.

  1. Save the current radio station to the preset list, or delete it from the list.
  1. Preset list
  1. Change the frequency. Press to switch to the previous or next frequency, or press and hold to change the frequency quickly (if equipped).

Option B

Press All menus > Radio on the Home screen, or press the Radio button on the control panel.
  1. Select a radio mode.
  1. Access the preset list.
  1. Access the list of available radio stations.
  1. Display the options list.
  1. Display Off (if equipped): Turn off the screen. Press the screen to turn it back on.
  2. Manual tune FM (if equipped): Tune the radio frequency manually.
  3. Scan DAB/FM/Scan FM/Scan AM (if equipped): Preview each radio station for a few seconds and select the one you want.
  4. Radio noise control (if equipped): Select the FM radio noise reduction option for the sound quality of the incoming signal. > See ″Radio noise control (if equipped).″
  5. TA (if equipped): Activate traffic announcements. Announcements and programmes will be received automatically if available.
  6. Regional (if equipped): Enable or disable automatic switching between regional stations.
  7. DAB/FM switching (if equipped): Switch between the DAB and FM modes.
  8. Sound settings: Customise the system sound settings. > See ″Configuring the sound settings.″
  9. Manual: Access the web manual via the QR code. For safety reasons, you can access the QR code only when your vehicle is stationary.
  1. Return to the previous level.
  1. Save the current radio station to the preset list, or delete it from the list.

  1. Preview each radio station for a few seconds and select the one you want (if equipped).

Changing the radio mode

Option A

On the radio screen, press FM/AM to switch between the radio modes.
  • Alternatively, press the Radio button on the control panel.

Option B

On the radio screen, press Band and select a desired mode.
  • Alternatively, press the Radio button on the control panel.

Scanning for available radio stations

You can listen to each radio station for a few seconds and select the one you want.

Option A

On the radio screen, press Menu > Scan FM or Scan AM, depending on your vehicle model.
  • The system provides a preview of each radio station on the available stations list for five seconds.

Option B

  1. On the radio screen, press or press Menu > Scan DAB/FM, Scan FM, or Scan AM, depending on your vehicle model.
  1. The system provides a preview of each radio station on the available stations list for five seconds.
  1. When you find the radio station to which you want to listen, press to stop the scan.
  1. You can continue listening to the current radio station.
Note
The system will not add or update the AM radio stations on the available stations list automatically. To add or update the AM radio stations manually, press Band > AM > List > Refresh or .

Searching for radio stations

Option A

You can search for radio stations by changing frequencies.
To change frequencies, press the Search backward button (SEEK) or the Search forward button (TRACK) on the control panel.
  • An available radio station will be selected automatically.
To change frequencies manually, turn the Search knob (TUNE FILE) on the control panel.
  • Alternatively, press or on the radio screen (if equipped).

Option B

You can search for radio stations on the available stations list.
On the radio screen, press List and select a desired radio station.
You can search for radio stations by changing frequencies.
To change frequencies, press the Search backward button (SEEK) or the Search forward button (TRACK) on the control panel.
  • An available radio station will be selected automatically.
To change frequencies manually, turn the Search knob (TUNE FILE) on the control panel.
  • Alternatively, press or on the radio screen (if equipped).
Note
Depending on the radio mode or current screen, this function may not work.

Saving radio stations

You can save your favourite radio stations and listen to them by selecting from the preset list.

Option A

Press the star icon next to the current radio station information.
  • Alternatively, press and hold an empty slot on the preset list (if equipped).
  • You can also press Menu > Station list and save radio stations from the list of available radio stations (if equipped).
Note
  • You can save up to 40 radio stations.
  • If you select a slot that is already filled, the station will be replaced by the station you are listening to (if equipped).

Option B

Press the star icon next to the current radio station information.
  • Alternatively, press Favourites and then press and hold an empty slot on the preset list (if equipped).
  • You can also press List and save radio stations from the list of available radio stations (if equipped).
Note
  • You can save up to 40 radio stations.
  • If you select an already assigned slot on the preset list, the station will be replaced by the station you are listening to (if equipped).

Listening to saved radio stations

Option A

On the radio screen, select one of the radio stations from the preset list.
  • Alternatively, use the Search lever/button on the steering wheel to scroll through the radio stations on the preset list.

Option B

  1. On the radio screen, press Favourites.
  1. Select one of the radio stations from the preset list.
  1. Alternatively, use the Search lever/button on the steering wheel to scroll through the radio stations on the preset list.

Rearranging the preset list (if equipped)

  1. On the radio screen, press Favourites > Menu > Reorder favourites.
  1. Press next to the radio station you want to move and drag it to a desired location.
  1. Your changes will be applied to the preset list immediately.
  1. Press to finish.
Note
To sort the preset list in frequency order, press Favourites > Menu > Auto-sort favourites (if equipped).

Deleting saved radio stations

Option A

  1. On the radio screen, press Menu > Delete favourites.
  1. Select the radio station you want to delete and press Delete > Yes.
  1. The selected radio station will be deleted from the preset list.
Note
If you are listening to one of the saved radio stations, press the red star icon next to the current radio station information to delete the radio station.

Option B

  1. On the radio screen, press Favourites > Menu > Delete favourites.
  1. Select the radio station you want to delete and press Delete > Yes.
  1. The selected radio station will be deleted from the preset list.
Note
If you are listening to one of the saved radio stations, press the red star icon next to the current radio station information to delete the radio station.

Changing the number of radio stations on the preset list (if equipped)

  1. On the radio screen, press Favourites > Menu > Set number of favourites.
  1. Select the number of radio stations and press OK.
  1. The selected number of the radio stations will be displayed on the preset list.
Note
If you set a number lower than the previously set number, only the selected number of radio stations will be displayed and the rest will be deleted.
