Using the infotainment/climate switchable controller

Component names and functions


The following explains the names and functions of the components on your infotainment/climate switchable controller.
Note
Depending on the vehicle model or specifications, the system components′ appearance and layout may differ from the actual product. Refer to the owner′s manual, catalogue, web manual, and Quick Reference Guide.

Infotainment control panel

POWER button (PWR)/VOLUME button (VOL)
  • Turn on or off the Media.
  • Press and hold to turn off the screen and sound.
  • Adjust the system volume.

System Reset button
  • Restarts the system.

Infotainment/Climate switch button ()
  • Switch between control panel functions.
  • Press and hold to access the control panel default settings screen.

HOME button
  • Go to the Home screen.
  • Press and hold to turn on or off the Quick Control function.

MAP button
  • When phone projection is not connected: Display the phone projection connection window.
  • When phone projection is connected: Display the map screen connected by phone projection (The button′s operation may vary depending on smartphone specifications).

SEARCH button
  • Displays the Search screen.

SEEK/TRACK button
  • While listening to the radio, change the station.
  • While playing media, change the track/file.

MEDIA button
  • Runs the connected media.
  • Press and hold to display the Media Home screen.

Custom button ()
  • Runs the user-defined function.
  • Press and hold to display the function settings screen.

SETUP button
  • Displays the Settings screen.
  • Press and hold to display the version information screen.

TUNE button
  • While listening to the radio, adjust the frequency or change the station.
  • While playing media, scan music or files.
  • During scanning, select the current station, music or file.

Climate control panel

POWER button (PWR)/Seat temperature control button ()
  • Turn the climate control function on or off.
  • Turn to adjust the temperature of the seat closest to the button.

Front windshield defrost button ()
  • Remove frost from front windshield via the climate control system.
  • Switch to air intake control automatically.

Rear window defrost button ()
  • Remove frost from rear window via the defroster grid.

AUTO mode button (AUTO CLIMATE)
  • The climate control system automatically matches the set temperature.
  • Press repeatedly to change the AUTO fan mode fan speed.

Recirculation button ()
  • Turn off the outside air and recirculate the air inside the car.

  • Switch between control panel functions.
  • Press and hold to access the control panel default settings screen.

Passenger seat temperature
  • Displays the passenger seat temperature.

SYNC mode button
  • The set temperature will be used for the driver's seat, passenger seat, and rear seats (if equipped).

  • Displays the fan speed in AUTO mode.
