Navigation route settings

Route menu screen

After setting the destination, press [NAV] > [Route].

1 Cancel Route

Stops the navigation guidance to the currently set destination.

2 Route Info. / Avoid

You can designate sections to avoid while getting to the currently set destination or view section details.

3 Route Overview

You can scan the route to the currently set destination or change the navigation options.

4 Route Preview

You can view different sections on the route to the destination through preview.

5 Settings

Move to navigation settings.

6 Load Tours

You can view information about the saved route.

7 Edit Route

The departure, waypoints and destination are displayed in a list, and you can edit the locations or save the route.

8 Route Options

You can modify the route to the currently set destination by changing various search conditions.

9 Avoid Area

You can set sections to avoid on the route to your destination.

Cancel route / Resume route

Stop or resume navigation guidance to the currently set destination.

1. Press [Cancel Route] to stop navigation guidance on the map screen.
2. Press [Resume Route] to resume the navigation guidance.

,Reference

Pressing [NAV] > [Route] > [Cancel Route] also stops navigation guidance. If you press and hold [Cancel Route] on the map screen, the guidance stops, and if you press [Resume Route], the guidance restarts.

Route Info. / avoid

You can designate sections to avoid while getting to the currently set destination or view section details.

Viewing section details

You can view detailed information of sections (distance to the next guidance point and the direction of rotation at that guide point) to the currently set destination.

Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Route Info. / Avoid].

Designating sections to avoid

Set the roads to avoid between the departure and destination.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Route Info. / Avoid].
2. Press the road you want to avoid.
3. Press [Reroute].
4. Press [Detour] > [Start Guidance].

Route overview

You can scan the route to the currently set destination or change the navigation options.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Route Overview].

2. Press [Start Guidance] to start navigation guidance.

Route scan

You can view different sections on the route to the destination through preview.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Route Preview].

2. Select the option you want.

• []: Move to the departure point.
• []: Move to the previous section.
• []: Move to the next section.
• []: Move to the destination.
• []: Drag and touch to move to the desired section.
• []: Move to the previous screen.

Load tours

You can view information about the saved route.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Load Tours].

You can press [Date] or [Name] to sort the results accordingly.

2. Select a desired item on the list.

[Load Tours] is not enabled until the route is saved. Refer to “Saving route” on how to save the route.

Edit route

The departure, waypoint, and destination are displayed in a list, and you can edit the locations or save the route.

Adding waypoints

Add waypoints after setting the destination. Up to two waypoints can be added. If two waypoints are already added, you can add a new waypoint only after deleting one of the added ones.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Edit Route].

2. Press [Add Waypoint].
3. Use the search feature to search for a waypoint and then press [Add Waypoint].

4. Repeat Step 2-3 to add another waypoint.
5. Press [Route] > [Start Guidance].

Deleting destination/waypoint

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Edit Route].

2. Press the waypoint or destination to delete, then press [].
3. Press [Route] > [Start Guidance].

Changing route order

If there are any added waypoints, the order between the waypoints or between the waypoint and the destination can be changed.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Edit Route].
2. Press a waypoint or destination, then press []/[] to relocate it.

• You can also change the order by pressing and dragging waypoints or the destination.

3. Press [Route] > [Start Guidance].

Press [] to view the map around the waypoints or destination.

Saving route

Save the route along the departure point, waypoints and destination.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Edit Route].

2. Press [Save Route].

3. Enter the route name, then press [OK].

Route options

You can modify the route to the currently set destination by changing various search conditions.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Route Options].
2. Select the desired route search method.

• [Fast]: Provides a fast route using traffic information.
• [Easy]: Provides the most optimal route considering distance and cost in addition to traffic information.
• [ECO]: Provides the route with the minimum use of toll roads in addition to traffic information.

• [Recommended]: Provides the route that takes the least time to the destination.
• [Minimize Cost]: Provides the route with the minimum use of toll roads.
• [Shorter Dist.]: Provides the shortest route to the destination.

3. Press [Start Guidance].

Avoid area

You can set sections to avoid on the route to your destination.

1. Press [NAV] > [Route] > [Avoid Area].

2. Press [Add to area to avoid] and set a section to avoid.
3. Press [Done].
