Basic Operation

System ON/OFF

Starting the system for the first time

  1. Press the engine start button or set the ignition key to On or ACC.

Once the system is turned on, the booting process will start and the safety warning page is displayed.

  1. Press [Confirm].

If you want to change the system language, press [Language].

,Note

  • System control is disabled during system booting. It takes a while for the entire system functions to be ready for use.
  • The safety warning page is displayed every time the ignition is turned on. The displayed warnings are related to safety. Please read carefully and comply with the safety warnings.
  • If there is no operation for 10 seconds in the safety warning screen the system automatically switches to the last played mode.

Turning the system off

Press and hold [POWER PUSH] on the head unit to turn the system off.

Press the [POWER PUSH] button again to turn the system back on.

,Note

Check the volume when turning on the system. Before turning on the system, adjust the volume to a reasonable level.

AV ON/OFF

Turning the AV off

When the radio/media is turned on, briefly press the [POWER PUSH] button on the head unit to turn the AV off.

Turning on AV

When the radio/media is turned off, briefly press the [POWER PUSH] button on the head unit to turn the AV on.

Adjusting volume

Adjusting radio/media/voice memo volume

When radio, media or voice memo is playing, turn the [VOL] button clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the volume.

Adjusting bluetooth call volume

Turn the [VOL] button clockwise or counterclockwise during a bluetooth call to adjust the sound volume.

Adjusting bluetooth ringtone volume

Turn the [VOL] button clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the ringtone of an incoming bluetooth call.

Adjusting voice recognition guide volume

When voice guide is being given, turn the [VOL] button clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the volume.

,Note

When you turn the unit off, the current volume level is automatically memorized. Whenever you turn the system on, it operates at the stored volume level.

Resetting the system

System reset is a feature to restore the system when an unexpected malfunction occurs. Press the "RESET" button. (Use a pin or clip to press the "RESET" button on the head unit.)

Using touchscreen

Press the desired menu on the screen to select a menu.

,Note

  • If you touch the screen while driving, you may lose control of the vehicle and cause a traffic accident. For safety, please use it when the vehicle is parked or safely stopped.
  • Menu selection by using the touch buttons is only available on the front seat screen.
  • Do not press the screen with excessive force or with sharp objects. Doing so may damage the screen.
  • Be careful not to touch the screen with electrically charged objects, and do not place objects generating electromagnetic waves such as wireless chargers or electronic devices near the touchscreen. Electromagnetic effects can cause the system to operate incorrectly or cause the touchscreen to fail.

Sound settings

This menu is used to adjust the sound effects for the whole system.

  1. Press [3113.png] > [Sound settings] on the menu options of available mode.

Display Off

This menu is used to turn the screen off.

  1. Press [3148.png] > [Display Off] on the menu options of available mode.

  1. Press the screen to turn the screen on.

Manual

This feature is used to see the E-manual on your mobile phone by scanning a QR code on the [Manual] menu.

Press [3164.png] > [Manual] on the menu options of available mode.
