Making a phone call by entering the number

Press [J] on the screen.

Enter the phone number on Dial Pad.
Pressing [V] button on Dial Pad or [W] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control starts the phone call. Or press the desired contact.

In case of entering a wrong number, press [M] button to delete each digit. Long press of [M] button deletes all entered numbers.
Long press of [] button on Dial Pad enters '+'.
Phone call is available by entering only a part of the phone number.
ex) When '010' is entered, all contact numbers including '010' are listed on the left screen. Press the desired contact to place a call.

Making Phone Calls via Voice Recognition

If you change the language displayed on the system to English, the Voice Recognition feature is not supported. Change the system language to 한국어. For more details, refer to the "Language" part.

Press Q button on the screen. The voice says "전화를 걸고자 하는 분의 이름을 말씀해 주세요.”

If the top phrase disappears with Beep alert, speak the desired voice command.(ex: 홍길동)

Making Phone Calls via Speed Dial

Press and hold the speed dial no. registered in the phone long (for 0.8 sec or longer) on Dial Pad on Dial Screen.

In case of 1 digit Speed Dial
ex) If it's 8, press and hold 8.
In case of 2 digit Speed Dial
ex) If it's 12, press 1 shortly and press and hold 2.

Some mobile phone models may not support this feature.

Making Phone Calls via Re-Dial

On Call Waiting Screen (No Phone Number is entered), press and hold [V] button on Dial Screen or [W] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control to connect to the last dialed number.

Re-Dial is not available if no phone call has been made or a Bluetooth phone is not connected.
On Call Waiting Screen (No Phone Number is entered), Press and hold [V] button on Dial Screen or [W] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control to connect to the most recent call number.

Receiving Phone Calls

To receive an incoming call, press [Accept] button on the screen or [W] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control.

The call is connected.

Responding with incoming text

If you want to respond with a text message, press the [Message] button on the screen.

Select the desired character and press the [Send] button.

Depending on the mobile phone model, the [Message] function may not be supported.

Rejecting Phone Calls

To reject an incoming call, press [Reject] button on the screen or [] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control.

The phone ring is stopped.

The phone number is not displayed and/or the rejection feature may not be supported in some models.

Holding Phone Calls

To hold an incoming call, press [Hold] on the screen.

The call is switched over to hold mode and moves to the previous screen.

In some cases, it will be moved Home screen.

Switching Calls to Mobile Phone/Hands-free

Switches a call from Hands-free to Mobile Phone or Vice Versa.

To switch from Hands-free to Mobile Phone during a phone conversation, press [Use Privite] button on the screen.
A screen notifying the call has been switched to Mobile Phone opens.

To switch from to Hands-free to Mobile Phone during a phone conversation again, press [Use Handsfree] button on the screen.

Hanging up Calls

To end a call, press [YEnd] button on the screen or [Z] button of Steering Wheel Remote Control.

The phone is hung up.

To control the mic volume during a phone conversation, press [Outgoing Volume].
To cut the sound delivered to the other party during a phone conversation, press [Mic Off].
To open Dial Pad during a phone conversation, press [Keypad].
