Switches to HOME Screen.

2 Mode Display

It displays the currently running mode. (If there is a rear seat USB connector, it will be displayed as "iPod (Front)" or "iPod (Rear)", and if there is no rear seat USB connector, it will be displayed as "iPod".)

Displays the play list.

4 Playback Song Information

Shows the artist, name of music and the cover art.

5 Current Time

Switches to Date/Time Setting Screen.

6 QLS (Quantum Logic Surround, If equipped)

Shows 3 sound modes as Reference, Audience and On Stage.

7 List

Switches to List Screen.

8 Menu

Displays iPod Music Menu.

Switches to HOME or the previous screen.

10 Song Index

Shows the current/entire number of file.

11 Control Panel

Controls Play, Pause and Search.

Activates/Clears Random Play.

k/n/k

Activates/Clears Repat Play.

12 Play Time

Displays the play time and the total play time.

13 List

Switches to List Screen.

14 Shuffle

Activates/Clears Random Play.

15 Repeat

Activates/Clears Repat Play.

16 Song Information

Displays the information of currently playing music (the artist, the music title and the album title).

17 Simple Mode

Switches to Simple Mode.

18 Sound Settings

Moves to Sound Settings Screen.

19 Web Manual

Displays the QR code for the manual of corresponding function.

20 Split Screen

Displays Split Screen Selection Menu.

Playing iPod

  1. Connect iPod to USB Connection Terminal using iPod connection cable.
  2. Press [A] or [HOME] > [Media] > [iPod], [iPod (Front)] or [iPod (Rear)]. Activates iPod Mode.

Pause/Play

Pause/Play the current music.

  • Touch [M] during Play.
  • Touch [d] during Pause.

Play Previous/Next Music

Plays the Previous/Next File.

Front Screen
  • Touch [C/V].
  • Touch [C] after playing for 3 seconds starts the music from the beginning.

AVN keyboard
  • Press [S SEEK/TRACK W] button.
  • Pressing [S SEEK] after playing for 3 seconds starts the music from the beginning.

Forward/Reverse Search

Rapidly searches the current music in play.

Details

Front Screen

After touching on [C/V] for a long time and release the finger at the desired spot, the music starts from that spot.

AVN keyboard

After Long Press [S SEEK/TRACK W] button and release the button at the desired spot, the music starts from that spot.

Search Previous/Next Music

Searches the Previous/Next music. During searching, the music title is highlighted in orange color. When the desired music title is displayed, press "TUNE/FILE" to play the music.

Rotate "TUNE/FILE" knob to Left/Right. And when the desired music is displayed press the button

Switching to Simple/Normal Mode

Press [Menu] > [Simple Mode] on Screen. Simple Mode Screen opens.

Press [Menu] > [Normal Mode] to switch to Normal Mode from Simple Mode.

Screen is switched by selecting [Menu] > [Simple Mode] or [Normal Mode].

Viewing List

May play a desired music by searching the list. In List Menu, selecting of Category Sequence Editing is available while playing music.

Playing Music by Searching List

  1. Press [List] on Play Screen.

<List Screen>
  1. Plays selected music from the play list or a category of artist, album, tune, iTunesU, Podcast, audio book, composer or genre.

,Reference

List Screen is displayed by selecting [Menu] on the basic mode screen and selecting [List] as well.

Editing Category Sequence

  1. Press [Menu] on List Screen.
  2. Press [Reorder Categories].

  1. Select a category and change its position by moving up or down.

Random

Plays the entire music in a random order.

  1. Press [Menu] during Play.

  1. Check on the box left to [Shuffle] to set Random Play. To cancel Random Play, clear the check on the box left to [Shuffle] button.

,Reference

Selecting [q/r] on the front screen activates/Clears Shuffle Play.

Repeat

A file plays repeatedly.

  1. Press [Menu] during Play.
  2. Press [Repeat].

  1. Press a desired Repeat Mode.

Repeat play is set also by selecting [k/n/k] on the front screen.

Song Information

Displays the information of currently playing music (the artist, the music title and the album title).

  1. Press [Menu] during Play.
  2. Press [Song Information].
