Configuring the data/network settings (if equipped)

Configure settings related to data network configuration, such as Kia Connect and Wi-Fi Hotspot.

1. On the Home screen, press Settings ▶ Data/Network.

   The Data/Network settings screen appears.

2. Configure the settings as required.

• Press on the screen or press the [SEARCH] button on the control panel, enter a search term, and then select the item to run.

Kia Connect

Subscribe to the Kia Connect service or see the modem information.

• Available settings may differ depending on the vehicle model and specifications.

Activate service

Subscribe to the Kia Connect service by using the Kia Connect settings menu.

Modem information

Shows the modem information for use of the Kia Connect service.

Verification code (if equipped)

Shows the verification code received during the service activation.

Privacy settings (if equipped)

Change privacy settings.

• If offline mode is enabled, some Kia Connect services may not work.

Terms of use

Shows the terms of use of the Kia Connect service.

Privacy policy

Shows the privacy policy of the Kia Connect service.

Kia Connect activation help

The Kia Connect activation help screen is displayed, which assists in subscription and activation.

Deactivate Kia Connect

Unsubscribe from the Kia Connect service.

Wi-Fi hotspot (if equipped)

Configure settings so that a Wi-Fi Hotspot can be used by the vehicle’s system. Use a network by registering and connecting devices to a Wi-Fi Hotspot, and connect or disconnect registered devices.

• Usage may be restricted, depending on the network signal conditions.
