Listening to DAB(If equipped)/FM

  1. Press [RADIO] on the head unit.
  2. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] or [FM] on the screen.

The DAB(If equipped)/FM screen of the most recent listened station is displayed.

Each time [RADIO] button on the head unit is pressed, the mode is changed in the order DAB(If equipped)/FM > AM > DAB(If equipped)/FM.

Auto tuning

Press [A SEEK/TRACK D]or [S/W] on the head unit. Plays previous/next available station.

List tuning

Turn FILE/TUNE button (anti) clockwise. Pre-search previous/next available station in [List] menu.

Favourites tuning

,Note

  • FM broadcasts are transmitted at high frequencies and do not bend following the earth’s surface. Because of this, FM broadcasts generally begin to fade at short distances from the station. Also, FM signals are easily affected by buildings, mountains or other obstructions. These can result in undesirable listening conditions and show wrong information (ex. RDS PS NAME, etc.), which might lead you to believe a problem exists with your radio. The following conditions are normal and do not indicate radio trouble.
  • When the signal is weak, FM noise is generated and DAB sound is muted.

Opening the station list

You can see the station list with superior reception.

  1. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] or [FM] on the screen.
  2. Press [List].

Saving DAB(If equipped)/FM Favourites

It saves the listening station to the desired favourites list.

  1. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] or [FM] on the screen.
  2. Select the frequency to save.
  3. Press [Favourites].
  4. Press the desired favourites number. If you want to overwrite an existing favourites, press and hold the respective favourites number.

SLS (Slide Show) - DAB only

You can view the slide show image information when image information is available from the broadcasting station in the DAB mode.

  1. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] on the screen.
  2. Press [SK3_21-3_ENG_SLS.png].

,Note

The [SK3_21-3_ENG_SLS.png] icon may not be displayed if there is no information being transmitted by the broadcasting station.

Scan

This function scans all stations and plays only stations with good signal strength for 5 seconds each.

Press [SK3_radio%20Scan-01_new.png].

Press [SK3_radio%20Scan-01_new.png] again to stop the scan function.

TA

TA function allows the system to switch to Traffic Announcement (TA) from the current source. Traffic programmes and announcements can be automatically received by using TA features. Some functions and images may differ from actual product, according to the model, option and country.

  1. Activate the TA feature by pressing [Menu] > [TA].
  2. If TA is received from the broadcasting station, a pop-up message will appear and TA broadcasting is received.

Regional

When the receiving signals from the current station become weak, the station switches to another station. Some functions and images may differ from actual product, according to the model, option and country.

  1. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] or [FM] on the screen.
  2. Press [Menu] > [Regional].

  1. Press [Regional] again to cancel the function.

DAB/FM switching (If equipped)

This function allows the current DAB broadcasting is disconnected, find the same FM broadcasting automatically. When listening the FM radio, the system automatically switches to DAB when it finds the same DAB broadcasting. Some functions and images may differ from actual product, according to the model, option and country.

  1. Press [Band] > [DAB/FM] or [FM] on the screen.
  2. Press [Menu] > [DAB/FM switching].
