Setup

Display

This menu is used to change the display environment settings.

  1. Press SETUP > Navigation > Display.

  2. Select the desired menus.

    • Vehicle speed: The vehicle speed is displayed on the map screen. In some model of the vehicles, the GPS speed is displayed and it may differ from the cluster speed.

    • Traffic info:Turn the traffic information on the map on or off.

    • Colour for traffic on the route: Check or uncheck to show or hide traffic problems along the route in a special colour on the map.

    • Nearby POI: Set the nearby POI to display on the map.

    • Fuel price info (If equipped): Set whether to display the fuel price information on the map. You can select the fuel type to display.

Guidance

This menu is used to change the guidance settings.

  1. Press SETUP > Navigation > Guidance.

  2. Select the desired menus.

    • Route options (Network activated): Changes the route options.

    • Route avoidance options (Network deactivated): Select the route avoid options to set the prefer route.

    • Set guide distance type: Set the distance display method to the guidance position to Interval distance or Cumulative distance.

    • Navigation voice guidance: Set the voice guidance to mute nearby destination.

    • Detailed guidance:

      • Show route details: Set whether to display detail information on the route.

      • Distance unit: Set the unit to be used for measuring distances.

    • Border crossing information

      • Border crossing information: Set whether to display the border crossing information or not.

      • Country information: Displays country information based on the current location.

    • Display alternative routes: Set whether to view second best routes compared to current route.

    • Show route overview while stopped: Set route overview to be displayed while stopping.

    • Previous destinations settings: Set the previous destination properties.

      • Save previous destinations: Enable or disable saving previous destinations.

      • Save time stamp in previous destinations: Set whether to save the time stamp in previous destinations.

      • Show previous destinations on start: Set whether to display previous destinations on navigation start-up.

Alerts

This menu is used to change the camera alert settings. This function is available only when Kia Connect is activated or Wi-Fi network is connected.

  1. Press SETUP > Navigation > Alerts.

  2. Select the desired menus.

    • Camera alert: Set the camera alert enable.

    • Camera alert settings: Adjusts camera alert settings.

      • Alert distance depending on the speed limit: Set the alert distance depending on the speed limit.

      • Alert distance (general): Set the alert distance in the general road.

      • Alert distance (motorway): Set the alert distance in the motorway.

Map

This menu is used to change the map settings.

  1. Press SETUP > Navigation > Map.

  2. Select the desired menus.

    • Map mode: Set the type of the map.

      • Map view: Changes the map view perspective.

      • 3D buildings: Set whether to display 3D buildings in the 3D map view.

      • Auto zoom: Set whether to adjust the scale automatically.

    • Map font size: Sets the size of the map font.

    • Daytime map colour (If equipped): Sets the map colour of the daytime.

    • Vehicle symbol colour: Set the vehicle symbol style.

    • Auto zoom settings: Set the map scale to be adjusted automatically based on the vehicle speed.

Automated features

  1. Press SETUP > Navigation > Automated features.

  2. Select the desired menus.

    • Automatic return after scrolling: Set the vehicle to return to the centre of the map automatically.

    • Return to map: Set the time that the vehicle return to the map.

    • My data:

      • Import favourites/previous destinations from USB: This function is used to import the address book in the USB device to the navigation system.

      • Export favourites/previous destinations to USB: This function is used to export the address book in the navigation system to the USB device.

    • Satellite: Displays the satellite status.

  • The amount of data available for importing from a USB device is limited based on the number of address book items supported by the navigation system.

  • If the data saved on the USB device uses different coordinates from those used by the current system, the importing location may change.

  • Please make sure that the address book has been successfully imported before use.

  • Only USB devices formatted in FAT16/32, exFAT, NTFS are supported.

  • Certain USB devices may not be supported due to compatibility issues.
