Before using Connected Services (If equipped)

Connecting phone for using Connected Services (If equipped)

1. Activate a Wi-Fi Hotspot on your mobile phone, and search for Wi-Fi networks. (For details refer to your mobile phone's user manual.)

   By creating a Wi-Fi Hotspot, you may incur additional data charges depending on your data plan, particularly when roaming. The battery of the mobile phone may drain quickly so consider charging the phone while using Connected Services.

2. Press SETUP > Data/Network.

3. Press Wi-Fi. Some functions and images may differ from the actual product, according to the model, option and country.

   

4. Press Wi-Fi. Select the desired Network. (If you want to connect the Wi-Fi Network manually, press Add Wi-Fi network. Especially, you can connect a hidden Wi-Fi Network.)

Traffic

The current traffic/road event information is basically displayed on the traffic information list. This fuction may not be reflected depending on the condition.

1. Press [] > Kia LIVE > Traffic.

   

   • It is displayed when there is traffic information along route or near current location.

   • The total delay time will be displayed on the title. This can be different from the sum of each delay times due to rounding-off.

2. Select the desired items.

   

   • Recalculate: Recalculates the route by reflecting traffic information.

Live parking

You can set a parking as destination using different search methods. You can set the advanced search option setting by pressing Filter.

This provides parking information and delivers parking information of the major European cities on the map.

1. Press [] > Kia LIVE > Live parking.

   

   • Press Distance or Price to arrange the list in distance or price order.

2. Press the preferred item from the list.

   • Near current position: Search parking near current vehicle position.

   • Near destination: Search parking near selected destination.

   • Near scroll mark: Search parking around the current cursor when the map screen is scrolled.

3. Select the desired destination.

4. Follow step 4 to 5 of the “Search” part.

Live filling stations

You can set a filling stations as destination using different search methods.

1. Press [] > Kia LIVE > Live filling stations.

   

   • Press Distance or Price to arrange the list in distance or price order.

2. Press the preferred item from the list.

   • Near current position: Search filling stations near current vehicle position.

   • Near destination: Search filling stations near selected destination.

   • Near scroll mark: Search filling stations around the current cursor when the map screen is scrolled.

3. Select the desired destination.

4. Follow step 4 to 5 of the “Search” part.

Live POI (Point of Interest) (If equipped)

You can set a POI as a destination using various search methods.

1. Press [] > Kia LIVE > Live POI.

   

2. Enter the desired POI (Point of Interest) name and press OK.

3. Press the preferred item from the list.

   • Near current position: Search POI near current vehicle position.

   • Near destination: Search POI near the selected destination.

   • Near scroll mark: Search POI around the current cursor when the map screen is scrolled.

4. Follow step 4 to 5 of the “Search” part.

Weather (If equipped)

This provides weather forecast for the next days including the current day, for the current location and destination.

1. Press [] > Kia LIVE > Weather > Current position, Destination or Favourites.

   • Current position: Displays weather information in your current position.

   • Destination: Displays weather information in your destination.

   • Favourites: Displays weather information in favourites.

2. Press the desired list for more weather information.

   

Setting Favourites (If equipped)

If your favourite locations have already been saved in the Favourites menu, you can check weather information for your favourite locations easily.

Press [] > Kia LIVE > Weather > Favourites.

You can also add the current position or destination as favourites.

Press [] > Kia LIVE > Weather > Current position or Destination > [] in list.
