Using the Car to Home service (if equipped)

Car to Home allows for remotely controlling electronics connected to the Smart Home system in coordination with the Kia Connect service.

You can control air conditioners, heaters, lights, and other IoT devices from your vehicle.

• To use Car to Home, subscribe to the Kia Connect first and then install the Kia Connect App on your smartphone. Download and install the Kia Connect App from Google Play Store or App Store depending on the smartphone operating system.
• Lining the Car to Home user profile to a Kia Connect account is required to use the service. Car to Home service is not accessible when the user profile in the vehicle is set to Guest. To link your user profile to your Kia Connect account, press Setup ▶ User Profile from All Menus.
• The remote control supports only the IoT devices that are connected to the Smart Home system. Devices that can be controlled may differ depending on the service provider and subscriptions.
• Some features may not be available depending on your IoT provider and what service and device you use.

1. On the All Menus screen, press Car to Home.

   The screen displays the status of service modes and electronic devices that can be controlled.

   • To access the online user's manual on the Car to Home screen, press ▶ User's Manual on Web (QR Code) and then scan the displayed QR code.
2. Select an electronic device and remotely control the device.
   • To view a list of linked service providers, press ▶ Service Provider on the Car to Home screen.
   • Available control items may differ depending on the electronic device.
