Common

The device does not operate normally.

You can initiate (reset) the system. Press the "RESET" button on the AVN system using a pin or clip.

There is no sound output.

Adjust the volume.

The screen is dark.

Adjust the brightness.

The brightness level is set too low.

There is no video or sound output.

Check whether the starter switch is at "ACC" or "ON.”

When power is on, corners of the screen are dark.

Due to the nature of liquid crystal panel, this phenomenon can occur after a long period of use. This is not a product failure.

When the temperature inside the vehicle is high, the disc is ejected automatically.

This is a temporary phenomenon that may occur when the vehicle's interior temperature is high under direct sunlight in summer. This is not a product failure.

Lower the vehicle's interior temperature by opening the windows or turning on the air conditioner, then insert the disc again.

Playback does not work.

If you have inserted no disc or inserted the disc upside down, insert the disc with the recording surface facing downward.

If you have inserted an unplayable disc, insert a genuine playable disc.

If you have inserted a DVD with an unavailable regional code, insert a DVD with the regional code of 3 or ALL.

The disc is not ejected.

When the AVN system is off or booting, the disc may not come out. In this case, after the AVN system is booted, wait for the DISC IN LED indicator to turn on and press the eject (B) button.

iPod

iPod is connected but not recognized.

If the firmware of iPod needs an update, update the firmware using iTunes before use.

If the iPod is not recognized due to its own system error, reset the iPod and connect it again.

USB

The USB device is not played.

If the USB drive is corrupted, format it to FAT 16/32, exFAT or NTFS before use.

If the USB drive is contaminated with foreign matters, wipe off the matters from the contact surface between the USB drive and multimedia port.

Do not use a USB hub. Connect a USB memory directly to the multimedia terminal of the vehicle to use.

Do not use a USB extension cable. Connect the USB drive directly to the multimedia terminal of the vehicle.

Do not use a non-standard (metal cover type) USB drive. Use a standard USB drive.

If using a HDD type, CF or SD memory, use a standard product.

If there is no playable video, music or photo files, check if the files are of the supported format.

CD

The disc is not recognized.

Check the disc surface and insert the disc correctly.

If the disc is inserted incorrectly

Press and hold the eject (B) button for 5 seconds.

DVD

The DVD is not played.

Check the regional code.

If the disc is inserted incorrectly

Press and hold the eject (B) button for 5 seconds.

Subtitles are not displayed.

If the DVD being played does not include subtitles, no subtitles are displayed.

If the subtitles language is set as “Off,” enable the desired language.

Subtitles cannot be hidden.

If the DVD prohibits the subtitles hiding function, subtitles cannot be hidden.

The voice or subtitles language cannot be changed.

If the DVD being played contains only one language, this feature is not available.

If the DVD prohibits language change, this feature is not available.

DMB

A weak signal alert is displayed, and video is stopped.

Switch the channel.

Sometimes the video image is broken or unclear.

Move out of areas such as inside a tunnel, between buildings and in a mountain.

It displays a pop-up showing that you cannot watch the screen during driving.

A pop-up appears saying not to watch the screen during driving.

The channel name on the menu does not match the actual channel played.

Renew the received broadcasts.

Phone

Transmission and reception are poor, and call is often disconnected. In certain areas, phone calls sound broken or are not heard at all.

Use a while later or at another place. Move to another region and try it again.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth phone connection is not made on the AVN system.

Change the mobile phone screen to the main screen.

Bluetooth dialing does not work.

Change the mobile phone screen to the main screen.

Music is not played on the bluetooth phone.

If the AVN system is not in the bluetooth music play state, switch the AVN system to the bluetooth music play state.

Bluetooth music is not played.

There is no music in the mobile phone. Download music to the mobile phone. No music is saved in the playlist of the phone. Select music tracks to play in your mobile phone.

Navigation

The current location is not displayed.

Drive the vehicle and stop at a place without obstacles.

Check the GPS satellite reception, drive the vehicle and stop at a place without obstacles.

If the GPS satellite positioning is poor, the positioning error increases and the location cannot be updated. Wait until the GPS satellite position is enhanced.

No voice guide is given even when you are near the destination or a waypoints.

Check the volume setting.

A message appears informing that there is an issue on the current location check.

If the message continues to appear, contact the service center.

There is a large current location positioning error.

Wait until obstacles disappear or the GPS satellite position is corrected.

The current location on the road is not displayed.

Wait until the speed and direction are stabilized.
