Safety precautions
Safety Precautions are intended to prevent unexpected accidents or risks through safe and correct use of the product. Please be sure to observe them.
The precautions are categorized into “Warnings” and “Cautions.” Their meanings are as follows.

Violating the instruction may cause serious injury or death. |

Do not operate the device while driving. Operating the device during driving makes you unable to look to the front properly, which may lead to a traffic accident. Operate the device after stopping the vehicle at a safe place and pulling the parking brake. Make sure to start driving again after you are finished using the device. |

Do not view the navigator screen continuously while driving. Continuously looking at the screen may lead to a traffic accident. Do not change the AVN system’s user environment through unauthorized modification or improper control of the vehicle. Doing so may cause a traffic accident. |

Comply with the traffic regulations. The voice guidance and map display may be inconsistent with the actual road conditions. Therefore, drive according the actual road conditions and complying with the traffic regulations. |

Set the volume to an adequate level. Do not play audio guidance at too loud a volume level. Doing so may cause a traffic accident. |
The company does not take responsibility for any type of accident caused by not following traffic regulations or road guidelines.

Violating the instruction may cause light injury or product damage. |

Do not use the device for a long time with the engine stopped. Do not use the system for a long time while the engine is not running. Doing so may cause battery drain. (If you turn off the AVN system by pressing the power button while ACC is on, battery drain will continue.) |

Do not drop an object or cause an impact on the device. Such a physical impact may lead to product failure. |

Never disassemble, repair or modify the device. Doing so may cause an abnormal operation, posing a fire hazard. |

Turn the power off before cleaning the screen. Clean it with a well-dried piece of soft cloth. Never use a hard cloth, cloth soaked in chemicals or organic solvents (alcohol, benzene, thinner, etc.) as they may damage or spoil the surface of the AVN system. |

Be careful not to let water or foreign matters flow into the device. Entry of water or foreign matters into the device may cause ignition, fire or failure. |
