Making phone call by entering number

1. On the make phone call screen, enter a phone number using the dial pad on the right side of the screen.

2. Press [V] on the make phone call screen or press [W] on the steering wheel remote control to make the call.

If you have entered a wrong number, press [M] to delete one number at a time. Press and hold [M] to delete the entire numbers. Press and hold [] on the dial pad to enter "+". In many cases, you would just need to enter two to three numbers to bring up the desired contact on the screen rather than enter the entire number. (Example: If you enter “013,” all contacts in the memory that include “013” or Korean consonants “ㅎ, ㄱ/ㅋ and ㄷ/ㅌ” are displayed on the left side of the screen. Either tap on the desired contact on the list or select the contact using the [S/W] button and then press [W] on the steering wheel remote control.)

Making phone call via speed dial

On the make phone call screen, press and hold a speed dial number (saved in the mobile phone) on the dial pad.

• If the speed dial number is a one-digit number

Example) If the speed dial number is 8, press and hold 8.

• If the speed dial number is a two-digit number

Example) If the speed dial number is 12, press 1 and then press and hold 2.

Some mobile phone models may not support this feature.

Making phone call via re-dial

Press and hold [V] on the make phone call screen (when no phone number is entered) or press and hold [W] on the steering wheel remote control to dial the most recently called number.

Re-dial is not available if there is no record of recent phone calls made or if no bluetooth device is connected. Press [V] on the call standby screen (when no phone number is entered) or press [W] on the steering wheel remote control to enter the most recently called number.

Receiving phone call

1. To receive an incoming call, press [Accept] on the screen or [W] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. The call is connected.

Declining call

1. To decline an incoming call, press [Reject] button on the screen or [Z] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. To answer or reject a call while the call is on hold, enter phone mode or press [W] on the steering wheel.
3. Select [Receive]/[Reject] on the call reception screen, or press the [W]/[Z] button selection on the steering wheel key.

,Reference

The caller’s phone number may not be displayed or the call declining feature may not be supported depending on the mobile phone model. You can send a call declined message to the caller by pressing [Message].

Putting call on hold

1. To put an incoming call on hold, press [Hold] on the screen.

2. To receive or decline the incoming call on hold, press [Accept] or [Reject] on the screen.

If you are currently on a non-bluetooth screen, the screen shows the “Incoming call is on hold” message on the top and then goes back to the previous page. on the all menus screen, press [Phone] to use a desired option. It is not possible to access Android Auto/MirrorLink/Apple CarPlay while a phone call is on hold. This feature is not supported while connection is made to Android Auto/MirrorLink/Apple CarPlay.

Switching call between mobile phone and hands-free

You can switch the call from hands-free to your mobile phone and vice versa.

1. To switch from hands-free to your mobile phone during a phone call, press [Use Pravate] on the screen.
2. A screen appears notifying that the call has been switched to the mobile phone.

3. To switch the call back from the mobile phone to Hands-free, press [Use Handsfree].

You can also press and hold [W] on the steering wheel remote control to switch the call.

Hanging up

1. To end a call, press [Reject] on the screen or [Z] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. The phone call is ended.

To bring up the dial pad during a phone call, press []. To block sound that would be deliver to the counterpart, press[] or press [d] button on a remote controller on a steering wheel. To open dial pad during a phone call, press [].

Setting MIC volume

You can set MIC volume during a phone call.

1. Press [] during a phone call.

2. Drag and touch to adjust MIC volume.

Setting MIC on/off

You can turn off the microphone to block all sounds from being delivered to the person on the other end of the line.

1. Press [] during a phone call.

2. To turn on the MIC again, press [].
