Using contacts

Downloading contacts from mobile phone

You can download the contacts list saved in your mobile phone into the head unit.

  1. Press [ICON_BOOK.png] on the phone screen

The contacts screen appears.

  1. Press [ICON_MENU.png] > [Download].

  1. Press [Yes].

  • Existing data are deleted when contacts are downloaded from the mobile phone.
  • Some bluetooth devices may not support this feature.
  • Up to 5,000 contacts can be stored per a mobile phone paired to the head unit.

Searching contacts

  1. Press [ICON_BOOK.png] on the phone screen

The contacts screen appears.

  1. Press search contacts or [ICON_MENU_1_1.png] > [Search].
  2. Enter a name or phone number to search for the matching contact.

  1. Press the desired contact to make a call.

,Reference
  • You can search for a contact by entering initials or part of the name instead of entering the entire name. Example) You can enter “JS” or “Smith” to search for all the contact names with the initial “JS” or which include “Smith.”
  • Alternately, you can enter a part of the phone number to search for. Example) You can enter “010” to search for all contacts whose number include “010”.
