Playing iPod

You can play music on an iPod player.

  1. Use iPod exclusive cable to connect iPod to USB connector.
  2. Press [MEDIA] button on the head unit.
    To play an iPod while a different source is playing, press [MEDIA] > [iPod].

,Note
  • To play tracks from the connected iPod while another media component is being played, press [MEDIA] button and select [iPod].
  • iOS updates may change operating specifications.
  • Some or all iPod playback features may not be supported depending on the iPod devices.

Pause

You can pause the playing file.

Press [M] during playback.

Press [d] to play it again.

Skip

You can play the previous or next file.

Description

Screen
  • Press [ 5513.png / 5508.png ].
  • Pressing [ 5503.png ] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Head unit
  • Press [S SEEK/TRACK W].
  • Pressing [ S SEEK] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Search

You can fast rewind/forward to a specific point of a file.

Screen

Press and hold [5487.png/5481.png] and then release at the point you want.

Head unit

Press and hold [S SEEK/TRACK W] and then release at the point you want.

,Note

When you drag or touch the desired part on the progress bar, the music of the selected part plays.

Seek

You can play the file directly by searching for the desired file.

Turn [FILE/TUNE] to search for a desired file. If the desired file is displayed, press the [FILE/TUNE] to play the file.

List

You can play the desired file by searching the file list included in iPod.

  1. Press [List] on Play Screen.

  1. Press the desired file after searching for a category.
    The category can be sorted by [Playlists], [Artists], [Albums], [Songs] or [Other].

,Note
  • Press [5537.png] to move to an upper folder.
  • If you press [5531.png] on the list screen, the screen moves back to the playback screen.

Shuffle

Play the entire files in a random order.

  1. Press [5680.png/5675.png] during playback.
  2. Press [5668.png/5663.png] to turn on or off random playback.

Repeat

Plays the file repeatedly.

  1. Press [5642.png/5624.png] during playback.
  2. Press [5618.png/5601.png] repeatedly to select the desired mode.
