General settings

The images displayed on this system may differ from actual ones.

On the home screen, press [Settings] > [General].

The general settings screen is displayed.

SW Info/Update

Software information

You can check the version information applied to the system.

On the general settings screen, press [SW Info/Update].

,Note

Software information is applied differently according to the system update time point.

Update

For supplementation of system software, addition of new functions, and more, update is needed.

You can update latest map and software by downloading file from web site.

For details on update, check from web site.

1. Download the latest file to USB and connect it to the USB terminal.
2. On the general settings screen, press [SW Info/Update] > [Update].
3. After completion, system automatically reboots.

,Note

Update may take dozens of minutes according to data size. During update process, if power is blocked or USB is removed, data may be damaged, so be careful.

System info

1. On the general settings screen, press [System info].

2. Select the desired item.

• [Memory]: Displays the storage space of the voice memo currently in use.
• [What's new]: Checks update history.

Date/Time

1. On the general settings screen, press [Date/Time].

2. Press the desired item.

• [GPS time]: Time is automatically set by GPS.
• [Set Date/Time]: Sets time applied to the system.
• [Time format]: Sets the time format.
• [Daylight saving time]: Sets the daylight savings time. When daylight saving time is on, the clock moves forward one hour.

,Note

To manually set the time, use it after changing [GPS time] setting to off. When [Daylight saving time] is turned on, the clock is adjusted forward one hour.

Language

You can set the display language of the system.

1. On the general settings screen, press [Language].

2. Select a desired item.

Keyboard

You can set type of keyboard used in the system.

1. On the general settings screen, press [Keyboard].

2. Select a desired item.

,Note

When you adjust the angle of handwriting and touch gesture recognition based on individual posture, press [Touchpad recognition angle].

Units

You can set the units used in the system.

1. On the general settings screen, press [Units].

2. Select a desired item.

Media options

1. On the general settings screen, press [Media Options].

2. Select a desired item.

• [No Radio/Media if Vehicle Off]: Stops media playback when engine is turning off. Media playback will not resume whilst engine is started up again.
• [Track change notifications]: Briefly display media information whenever the content changes, except on media playing screen.

Reset

All stored data and profile settings will be lost and the system will be reset.

1. On the general settings screen, press [Reset].

2. Select the desired item, and then press [Yes].

• [Delete Profile]: All stored data and profile settings will be lost and the system will be reset.
• [Reset All]: The system will be reset to the default settings and all stored data and settings will be lost.
